Within the scope of ornamental plant growing course, second grade students of Forestry Program were taken to Köyceğiz Palm Center on a technical trip by Asst. Prof. Sevgin ÖZDERİN. Various ornamental plants were introduced to the students by the director of the palm center Dr. Ragıp ESENLER, Landscape Architects Nuriye BEYDE and Şevval ALTINAY. Then, ornamental plant production techniques with slips and grafting were explained in practice. We would like to thank Köyceğiz Palm Center team for their assistance and hospitality.
