She was born in Yazır Town of Acıpayam District in Denizli Province where she finished primary and secondary education. She studied at Adana Laboratory Health Vocational High School between 1985-1989 and graduated as a laboratory technician. In 1989, she was appointed as a laboratory technician to Erzincan State Hospital of Ministry of Health. While working there, she started Forest Industrial Engineering department in the Faculty of Forestry of Karadeniz Technical University in 1990. She was assigned to Trabzon Numune Hospital in order to continue her education. Between 1990 and 1995 she worked as a laboratory technician at Trabzon Numune Hospital. She carried on her education and working life together.

After graduating from the University, she started her career as a research engineer in Trabzon East Black Sea Forestry Research Directorate of the Ministry of Forestry in 1995, where she worked until 2000. Between 2000-2003 she worked as a research engineer in the Directorate of Forestry Research in Elazığ. Between 2003 and 2004, she served as the Chief of Arhavi Nature Conservation and National Parks at Artvin Provincial Directorate of Environment and Forestry, affiliated to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. From 2004 to 2013 she served as department manager and chef in Tarsus, Ordu and Şanlıurfa Nature Conservation and Nature Parks consecutively.
She completed her master's degree in Forestry Industrial Engineering department of Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Forestry in 1998 and her doctorate degree in the same department in 2011. She carried out her master's degree and doctorate degree studies along with working and in 2013 and started her career as a lecturer doctor at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Köyceğiz Vocational School. On January 24th she was awarded the title of assistant professor. She has numerous academic studies and projects in Wood Mechanics and Technology, Wood Conservation, Nature Tourism and hunting-wildlife. Between 30.07.2018-25.06.2019, she was the director of the Vocational School of Health Services in Köyceğiz and is currently the director of the Köyceğiz Vocational School. She is married and mother of a boy and speaks English.
